CUBE OF LIGHT: THE ART OF LIVING WITH LIGHT
WE ARE OPENING THE DOORS TO A NEW COMPREHENSIVE LOGO PROJECT
In the heart of one of Madrid’s most exclusive areas, we discover a new philosophy for the home. This single-family residence stands as a serene contemporary retreat where natural light is the true protagonist.
The essence of the project is defined by Miren, who is responsible for the conceptual vision: “The project was developed in a rectangular, single-story home with high ceilings and stone walls. Structured as a succession of cubes, each room opens to the outside through large windows.”
This pure and luminous architecture called for a warm and coherent intervention. “In order to bring in warmth and enhance the luminosity to the fullest,” explains Miren, “we opted for light oak finishes and polar white lacquer. Every design has been custom made. The result is that, more than a house, we have created a home.”
‘EVERYTHING IS BUILT FROM DETAIL TO DETAIL’
In line with this overarching vision, the technical development and meticulous customisation work were led by Aurelio. “At Logos, every comprehensive project begins with a unique study. We work from a single trunk, integrating its veneers into every component of the space”, he explains. This material coherence becomes the house’s defining hallmark. From the kitchen and living room to the internal doors, panelling, and fireplace, a single language of light oak unifies the spaces.

WOOD AS THE COMMON THREAD THROUGHOUT A LONG HISTORY
Aurelio highlights some key details that exemplify this integrative craft: “The gallery, for example, is composed of panels with Makila model doors, applicable across all our product families. To separate spaces, we installed pilasters made from the same veneer used throughout the rest of the project.” This unifying thread extends to the most surprising elements: “The bathroom furniture is suspended using a structure finished in the same material, and we have also incorporated tables made from reclaimed wood from farmhouses over 500 years old. They are unique, solid pieces that add a little soul and history.”

The final result is the perfect synthesis of concept and execution. As Aurelio concludes with satisfaction: “For us, it is a privilege to work on projects of this level, where everything comes together as one. What we see here is the success of a shared project.” Cube of Light thus consolidates itself not only as a living space, but as a sensory experience where light, wood, and perfect proportions converse in harmony.
